The timeless elegance of a tailored coat
A made-to-measure coat is more than a garment for the colder season. It is an outer expression of attitude: protective, precisely cut, and made to be worn for many years. In my atelier in Berlin, the design, fabric selection, and adaptation to your measurements take shape. The coat is then made in Italy by a traditional tailoring manufactory.
Coats are among my favourite pieces of clothing. A good coat can define an entire outfit and is one of the best investments in tailored and bespoke clothing. Made for you, a tailored coat becomes a reliable companion for many years.
The first style in the Made-to-Measure collection is the Mira coat. It is a tailored double-breasted coat with peak lapels and classic details such as sleeve buttons, a breast pocket, and a refined silhouette. Mira is beautiful in a classic tweed, but equally striking in green corduroy. At the atelier in Berlin, you can choose from a variety of fabric bunches from some of the finest European mills.
The coat design and pattern are created in my atelier in Berlin. Here, we also prepare the toile — or canvas model — for the first fitting. Once the pattern has been adjusted to your measurements and all bespoke details have been defined, everything is sent to our manufacturer in Italy, where skilled artisans create your coat.
